It is said the company founder was travelling through Pravia in northern Spain when hay (heno) was being cut. He loved the smell of the cut hay so much that when he returned to Madrid he had his staff recreate the smell of freshly cut hay to create a soap and later many other products in the Heno de Pravia range all of which are 100% natural. Geranium, lavender, and sandalwood are also used to produce this scent.
